Volleyball Defeats PSU Scranton, 3-0, in Season Finale

SCRANTON, PA (October 19, 2023) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Volleyball team closed the 2023 season with a 3-0 win over host PSU Scranton Thursday evening. The team dominated sets 1 and 2 with scores of 25-11 and 25-7, Scranton would answer in set 3 but it was not enough as Lehigh Valley sealed the victory 25-23.
Lehigh Valley's Nat Wernly led the way at the net with a game-high 11 kills and Megan Shepard added a game-high 16 assists.
The team will bring back a strong core for next years squad and look to add some impact players for the 2024 season.
