BETHLEHEM, PA (February 3, 2024) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball improved to 15-3 overall and 11-2 in PSUAC play with a 94-71 win over visiting Penn State York Saturday night at Stabler Arena. The game was the annual "White Out" game and senior night. The team honored seniors; Aaliyah Crozier, Gianna Torretta and Sam Columna. With the win, the team is in 1st place in the PSUAC East Division with 6 regular season games to go.
Ten players scores led by Chloe Cassidy with a hot shooting night and scoring a team-high 19 points. Sam Columna added 16 points, Hillary Offing had a double double 15 points and 11 rebounds, Nia Newman had a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds and Gianna Torretta chipped in with 10 points.
In addition to the win, Penn State Lehigh Valley broke the all-time White Out attendance record with 650 people in attendance.
Lehigh Valley will host Penn State Wilkes Barre this Tuesday for a 6 PM tip-off at Cedar Crest College.
