GLEN MILLS, PA (January 9, 2024) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team opened up 2024 with a 69-55 win over non-conference host Cheyney University Tuesday night at Glen Mills School. With the win, the team improves to 9-2 overall.

Four Lehigh Valley players were in double digits led by Gianna Torretta with 17 points. Dynamic duo, Nia and Naila Newman, added 13 points each. Hillary Offing had a double double with 12 points and 16 rebounds. 

Lehigh Valley will begin conference play again when they host Penn State New Kensington this Friday at 6:00 PM at Cedar Crest College.
