Women's Basketball Improves to 7-3 with 74-57 Win Over PSU Brandywine

MEDIA, PA (December 4, 2021) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team held a 40-33 halftime lead and outscored Penn State Brandywine 18-6 in the 3rd quarter en route to a 74-57 win over PSUAC rival Penn State Brandywine Saturday afternoon in Media. With the win, Lehigh Valley improves to 7-3 overall and 5-0 in PSUAC play. 

Eleven players score led by Samantha Columna with a game-high 17 points. Jah'nel Oliver chipped in with 13 points and Taylor Styles added 12 points to round out the double figure scoring. 

The Lions will have 3 more games before going on break for finals. Lehigh Valley will take on Northampton Community College on Tuesday for a 5 PM tip-off and then host Penn State Greater Allegheny this Friday for a 8 PM tip-off and Penn State DuBois on Saturday for a 3 PM tip-off both at Northampton Community College Monroe Campus (Tannersville, PA)
