Penn State Lehigh Valley Athletics Partners with D11Sports.com to Provide Live Basketball

CENTER VALLEY, PA (October 19, 2022) - Penn State Lehigh Valley Athletics is excited to announce that D11Sports.com will now cover and promote all Penn State Lehigh Valley (PSU-LV) home basketball games for the 2022 - 2023 season.

Co-owned by sports aficionados and broadcasting experts, Al Di Carlo and Dave Mika, D11Sports.com offers extensive educational opportunities for students interested in broadcasting and journalism, hiring many as interns to serve on their production teams.

Penn State Lehigh Valley will also use the company's state-of-the-art streaming service for games to ensure that fans, friends, and relatives who cannot attend in-person can log on for a remote experience.

Penn State Lehigh Valley has six home games at a multitude of Lehigh Valley locations starting with the first home doubleheader in men's and women's basketball against Penn State Brandywine on Saturday, November 19 at Moravian University's Johnston Hall. Women will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. followed by the men's team at 8:00 p.m.

"College sports offer students the opportunity to further hone their leadership, team building, and time management skills, while reaping the benefits of a highly disciplined athletic program, "said Rich Fatzinger, director of Athletics at PSULV. We're pleased to offer five different collegiate-level sports on our campus, including men's and women's basketball, soccer, women's volleyball, and golf. Adding this level of exposure through D11Sports.com for our athletes – many of whom are recruited from out-of-state and even internationally - is a great next step for PSU-LV and our team fans, especially those whose location or mobility limit access."

D11Sports.com co-owner Al Di Carlo said, "We're excited to partner with PSU-LV Athletics and give their student athletes the recognition they deserve, while also sharing their talent with family and friends near and far through our Live Streaming platform." Di Carlo added, "We're also looking forward to giving our student reporters the opportunity to be in the booth to provide live play-by-play of PSULV basketball games as they continue to receive hands-on experience at the high school and collegiate level."
