Freshman Duo Named To PSUAC Cross Country All Conference Team

CENTER VALLEY, PA (October 28, 2015) - Penn State Lehigh Valley Cross Country runners freshman Anthony Siguenza and freshman Jonathon Meyer have been named to the PSUAC All-Conference team.

Siguenza was named to first team all-conference. Anthony led Penn State Lehigh Valley in 5 out of the 6 races this season.  Siguenza's best 8K time of the season was 28.48 at the PSU Wilkes Barre open on Sept. 26th.  He finished the season placing 4th out of 42 runners at the PSUAC Championships with a time of 31.39.  Siguenza is a native of Elizabeth, NJ and is currently majoring in Aerospace Engineering.

Teammate, Jonathon Meyer was named to second team all-conference. Jonathon ran his best time of 31.41 at the PSU Allegheny open on Sept. 12th.  He finished the season placing 8th at the PSUAC Championships with a time of 33.51.  Meyer is from Quakertown, PA and is currently majoring in Biotechnical Engineering. 

Both runners helped the Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Cross Country team to a 3rd place finish at the PSUAC Championships, the best finish in program history.
