SCHNECKSVILLE, PA (Sept. 5, 2019) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team got their 1st win of the season over host Lehigh Carbon Community College, 3-1, Thursday evening in Schnecksville. LCCC came out of the gates on fire winning set 1 25-23 but PSULV would rally back to win 3 straight sets (25-16, 25-21, 25-17) to improve to 1-1 on the season. Senior Ebony Sanders led the way with 15 kills and 7 serving aces. Freshman Bridget Jones added 7 kills and 3 serving aces. Transfer, Jillian Cope, chipped in with 6 kills.
Lehigh Valley will host their home opener this Saturday against Cheyney University at 1 PM at William Allen High School.
