Women's Volleyball Wins Second Straight with 3-2 Win over PSU York

ALLENTOWN, PA (Oct. 14, 2018) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team won its 2nd straight PSUAC game with a 3-2 nailbiting win over visiting PSU York Sunday afternoon in Allentown. York came out of the gates winning the first set 25-16 and the third set 25-11 but Lehigh Valley would battle back to win set 2, 25-15, set 4, 25-16 and outlast York in set 5 winning 15-12. With the win, Lehigh Valley has clinched PSUAC playoffs for the 5th straight year and the first under 1st year head coach, Tim Lutterschmidt.

Ebony Sanders had a monster day at the net recording a game-high 19 kills and 8 service aces. Adriana Leon contributed with 12 assists and sister Natasha Leon chipped in with 7 assists and 4 service aces. The PSULV Athletics Department would like to recognize and thank our lone senior, Natasha Leon, for her commitment and contributions the last 4 years to the PSULV Women's Volleyball team. Lehigh Valley will have one final regular season game this Wednesday when they travel to PSU Brandywine for a 7 PM match-up.
