Women's Volleyball Gets 1st Win of Season In Nailbiter Against PSU Wilkes Barre, 3-2

ALLENTOWN, PA (Sept. 18, 2018) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team racked up their first season win with a nailbiting 3-2 win over visiting PSUAC opponent PSU Wilkes Barre on Tuesday evening in Allentown.  

The match went back and forth with PSU Wilkes Barre winning set one, 25-19, Lehigh Valley would battle back to win set two and three, 25-19, 25-15, Wilkes Barre would not back down as they won set four 25-18 until Lehigh Valley took set five, 15-11, for the match victory.

Ebony Sanders dominated at the net with a game-high 17 kills , 4 service aces and 24 digs.  Adriana Leon had a team high 8 assists and 12 digs. Sister, Natasha Leon, contributed with 4 kills, 7 assists, 7 service aces and 13 digs.  

Lehigh Valley will travel to PSU York this Saturday for a 2 PM game time.
