Despite a Great Effort, Women's Volleyball Drops Home Opener to PSU Scranton, 3-1.

ALLENTOWN, PA (Sept. 13, 2018) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team dropped their home opener and first conference game against visiting PSU Scranton, 3-1, Thursday evening at William Allen High School. 

PSU Scranton took a 2-0 set lead (25-23, 25-19) going into the 3rd set but Lehigh Valley would not back down and rallied back to win set 3 (25-18). Despite a great effort in set 4, Lehigh Valley could not hold on and lost the final set 25-20 to suffer their first conference loss.

Ebony Sanders continues to dominate for Lehigh Valley contributing 3 monster kills, a game high 23 digs and 7 service aces. Natasha Leon chipped in with 6 service aces and 10 digs.

Lehigh Valley will travel to PSU Schuylkill Saturday for a 1 PM PSUAC match-up.
