Women's Volleyball Splits at Harrisburg CC Tri-Match

HARRISBURG, PA (Sept. 16, 2017) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley improved to 4-2 on the season with a 1-1 split at the Harrisburg Community College Tri-Match Saturday afternoon.

Lehigh Valley handled Luzerne County Community College in 3 with sets scores of 25-14, 25-12 and 25-15.  Sophomore Ebony Sanders dominated the net with 18 kills. Freshman Bobby Tubbs lead Lehigh Valley with 11 assists and classmate Tori Urbas chipped in with 10 helpers. 

HACC gave Lehigh Valley a tough second match, defeating the Lions in 3 sets with set scores of 25-16, 25-13 and 25-8. Sanders led Lehigh Valley with 7 kills and Urbas contributed 6 assists. 

Lehigh Valley will be back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 19 with a PSUAC conference match-up against PSU Wilkes-Barre at 7 PM at Cedar Crest College.
