CENTER VALLEY, PA (Oct. 17, 2016) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team had a busy weekend with a two back to back Quad Matches. Lehigh Valley went 3-1 in 2 days to improve to 12-7 overall and 10-4 in PSUAC play. 

On Saturday, Lehigh Valley travelled to PSU Hazleton to take on PSU Greater Allegheny and PSU Beaver. Lehigh Valley had a close match with Greater Allegheny but prevailed winning 3-2. Lehigh Valley continued the momentum into the 2nd match against PSU Beaver defeating them 3-0.

On Sunday, Lehigh Valley hosted their own Quad Match at Grace Hall on the campus of Lehigh University. Lehigh Valley faced conferene power PSU Fayette in the first match but did not have enough steam to pull off the upset dropping the match 3-0. Lehigh Valley rallied back to defeat New Kensington 3-0 to finish out the weekend.

Lehigh Valley ended its regular season play and will wait to see who they play in the 1st round of the PSUAC playoffs on Saturday, Oct. 29.
