ALLENTOWN, PA (Oct. 12, 2016) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team improved to 9-6 overall and 703 in PSUAC play after handling PSU Hazleton, 3-0, at Cedar Crest College Wednesday evening.

First set was close but Lehigh Valley came back to win 25-23, set two 25-17 and set three 25-13 would prove to show Lehigh Valleys dominance. Freshman Ebony Sanders showed her presence at the net with a game-high 18 kills. Freshman Darleenn Altema-Bouzi chipped in with 10 kills and freshman Shellbie Yard dished out 23 assists.

Lehigh Valley will go into the final weekend of regular season play when they travel to PSU Hazleton Saturday for a 2 PM match-up with PSU Greater Allegheny and a 4 PM match-up with PSU Beaver.  On Sunday, Lehigh Valley will host a quad match at Lehigh Universitys Taylor Gym facing PSU Fayette at 2 PM and PSU New Kensington at 4 PM.
