ALLENTOWN, PA (Sept. 29, 2016) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team won their 3rd straight match by defeating visiting PSUAC opponent Penn State Scranton, 3-0, Thursday evening at Cedar Crest College.

Freshman Ebony Sanders was a force at the net with a game-high 10 kills. Freshman Shellbie Yard contributed with a game-high 19 assists and sophomore Kayla Wirth recorded 5 service aces.

With the win, Lehigh Valley improves to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in PSUAC play with a few weeks remaining before playoffs. Lehigh Valley will have the weekend off but will return to action on Tuesday, October 4 when they host conference rival PSU Brandywine at 7 PM at Cedar Crest College.
