Women's Volleyball Drops a Pair at Quad Match

BETHLEHEM, PA (Sept. 20, 2015) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team hosted their first quad match of the season at Leeman-Turner Arena inside Grace Hall on the campus of Lehigh University Sunday afternoon.  Lehigh Valley dropped both matches to PSUAC opponents PSU Brandywine (25-6, 25-13, 25-2) and PSU Schuylkill (25-16, 25-19, 25-16) dropping them to 2-5 overall on the season.

Leading Lehigh Valley on the day was senior Shelley Rosario with a team high 17 digs in 2 matches. Sophomore Alica Huber recorded 13 digs, 4 blocks and 3 assists. Sophomore Natasha Leon chipped in with 9 digs, 3 kills, 2 assists and 1 serving ace.        

In the other matches, PSU Schuylkill defeated PSU Hazleton in 3 sets (25-11, 25-10, 25-16). PSU Brandywine swept PSU Hazleton in 3 sets (25-10, 25-20, 25-11).

Lehigh Valley will host PSU Scranton on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 2 PM at Parkland High School.
