SCHNECKSVILLE, PA (Sept. 12, 2015) - In their season debut at Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC), the Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team defeated Community College of Philadelphia in 4 sets; 18-25, 25-15, 25-8, 25-13 and LCCC in 3 sets; 25-20, 25-21, 25-19 to start the season 2-0. 

Leading the Lions in the match up against CCP, was sophomore Alicia Huber scoring 6 kills, 6 digs, 8 assists and a game high 8 serving aces. Sophomore, Natasha Leon, contributed with 8 kills, 5 digs and 3 serving aces. 

In the second match up of the day against host LCCC, the Lions, Alicia Huber again had another big stat line with 7 kills, a game high 14 digs, 3 assists and 4 serving aces. Teammate, Natasha Leon, chipped in with 6 kills, 12 digs, 4 assists and 3 serving aces. Freshman, Rain Czine, recorded 9 digs and 3 assists in her starting debut for Lehigh Valley.

The Lions will look to continue their winning streak as they host conference foe Penn State Wilkes Barre on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 7 PM at Parkland High School.
