CHEYNEY, PA (January 11, 2023) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team opened the 2023 year with a 100-61 win over host Cheyney University Tuesday evening. This is Lehigh Valley's 1st game in a month. With the win, Lehigh Valley improves to 11-2 overall. 

All 11 players scored, led by Sam Columna with 16 points, Raynah Young with 15 points and Chanelle Lee with 14 points. 

Lehigh Valley will start PSUAC play back up this Saturday when they travel to conference undefeated Penn State Shenango for a 4 PM tip-off, part of a western PA back to back weekend.
