MONT ALTO, PA (November 16, 2021) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team opened up PSUAC play with a 86-63 win over host PSU Mont Alto Tuesday evening. The Lions improve to 3-2 on the season and 1-0 in PSUAC play. 

Lehigh Valley held a small advantage going into halftime, 28-24, before exploding in the 3rd quarter outscoring Mont Alto 28-15. Twelve Lehigh Valley players scored led by junior Jah'nel Oliver with 15 points. Sophomore Gianna Torretta and freshman Raynah Young both chipped in with 13 points each.

Lehigh Valley will host their first back to back PSUAC play this weekend on Friday against PSU Shenango for a 6 PM tip and Saturday against PSU New Kensington for a 1 PM tip-off, both games will be played at Northampton Community College Monroe Campus (2411 Route 715  Tannersville, PA) and will be available to view on Instagram Live by following PennStateLVAthletics on IG.
