Women's Basketball Wins Their 19th Straight & Clinches the #1 Seed in PSUAC Playoffs

SCRANTON, PA (Feb. 13, 2019) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team kept their win streak alive, winning their 19 straight, by downing PSU Scranton, 107-56, Wednesday evening in Scranton. Five players scored in double digits led by Ally Quinn with 21 points. Junior Ebony Sanders is added 16 points and is 11 points away from the 1,000 point milestone. Freshman trio, Kion Andrews, Jah'nel Oliver and Sarah McGee all has 15 points a piece. 

With the win, Lehigh Valley improves to 20-2 and has clinched the #1 seed in the East Playoff Bracket. PSUAC playoffs will begin next Tuesday, Feb. 19th at 7 PM at Cedar Crest College. The #4 seed will travel to face the #1 Lehigh Valley. The #3 seed will travel to #2 seed. Winners of both games will advance to the semi-finals on Friday, Feb. 22. Lehigh Valley is guaranteed a home playoff game on Friday at 7 PM at Cedar Crest College. With a win in the semifinals, Lehigh Valley will play the PSUAC championship game at the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park at 1:30 PM. 

Lehigh Valley will have one more regular season game when they travel to rival PSU Brandywine Friday evening for a 7 PM tip-off.
