WILKES BARRE, PA (Feb. 10, 2019) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball Team continued their win streak by recording their 18th straight victory over host PSU Wilkes Barre, 81-40, Sunday afternoon. With the win, Lehigh Valley improves to 19-2 overall and remains the lone unbeaten team in the PSUAC.
Lehigh Valley opened the game on a 12-0 run and never looked back. Junior Ebony Sanders led the way recording yet another double double on the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Kion Andrews continued her hot streak recording a double double of her own with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman, Ally Quinn, chipped in with 11 points.
Lehigh Valley has to win one more game to clinch the #1 seed in the East and host the first 2 rounds of playoffs, they will look to do so when they travel to PSU Scranton this Wednesday for a 6 PM tip-off.
