Women's Basketball Falls to Moravian, 71-55

BETHLEHEM, PA (Nov. 14, 2018) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball held Moravian to 7 points in the 2nd quarter to head to the locker room at halftime down six points, 32-26. Lehigh Valley cut the deficit to 3 points with 6:19 remaining in the 3rd but Moravian used 8-0 run late in the 3rd to have the edge 51-37 going into the 4th quarter and the Greyhounds never looked back taking the 71-55 win. Lehigh Valley drops to 1-1 overall. 

Junior Ebony Sanders was a beast in the paint, leading the way with a team high 16 points and 16 rebounds. Freshman Sarah McGee chipped in with 14 points. 

Lehigh Valley will travel across route 378 to DeSales University to take part in the Morgan Stanley Tip-Off tournament Saturday, November 17th when they take on Stevens institute of Technology at 4 PM. Sunday's match-up will be determined after Saturdays game.  Consolation game is slated for 2 PM and the championship game at 4 PM. DeSales and Cedar Crest are the other 2 participants.
