SCHNECKSVILLE, PA (January 5, 2017) - Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball junior guard, Andrea Watkins, scored 13 points including her 1,000 career point in a 80-48 victory over host Lehigh Carbon Community College. With the victory, PSULV is now 8-2 overall.

Watkins scored her 1,000 points on a 3 point shot 3 minutes into the game.  Andrea became only the 2nd basketball player in PSULV history and the quickest player to ever reach the milestone, scoring it in 2 and half seasons. Andrea has been a starter for the PSULV Women's Basketball team since she was a freshman. She is majoring in Rehad & Human Services at PSULV. Andrea is from Emmaus, PA and a graduate of Emmaus High School.

Freshman Ebony Sanders lead PSULV with 19 points. Ashley Gordon recorded 17 points. Gia Erie and Hannah Bankes both chipped in with 12 points. 

The Nittany Lions will face visiting non-conference opponent Davis College on Tuesday, January 10 at Cedar Crest College for a 5 PM tip-off.
