DALLAS, PA (Dec. 9, 2016) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team won its 7th straight game by defeating PSUAC host PSU Wilkes-Barre, 55-26, Friday night in Dallas to close out the first semester. 

Lehigh Valley came out of the games with a 16-4 first quarter lead and never looked back taking a 31-15 halftime lead. Lehigh Valley was led by junior Andrea Watkins with 14 points and 5 steals. Senior Ashley Gordon contributed a double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Hannah Bankes chipped in with 12 points. 

Lehigh Valley will have some time off before getting back on the court at the end of December when they travel to Moravian College to take on the Greyhounds in the Roosevelts 21st Christmas Tournament on Friday, December 30th and Saturday, December 31st taking on either Delaware Valley University or Lebanon Valley College.
