2016 PSUAC Women's Basketball All-Conference Awards

CENTER VALLEY, PA (February 22, 2016) - Three players from the Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball program have been recongized by the PSUAC for their outstanding performances throughout the 2015-2016 season. 

ANDREA WATKINS - Sophomore (Emmaus, PA/ Emmaus High School) 
**Named Co-Player of the Year & 1st Team All-Conference**
-1st Athlete in Penn State Lehigh Valley Athletic History to be named Player of the Year.
-Finished ranked 2nd in conference in scoring, averaging 19.4 points per game. 
-Compiled 408 points on the season.

HANNAH BANKES - Sophomore (Lyon Station, PA/ Kutztown High School)
**Named 2nd Team All-Conference**
-Finished ranked 3rd in conference in scoring, averaging 18.8 points per game,
-Compiled 319 points on the season.

ASHLEY GORDON - Junior (Bethlehem, PA/ Freedom High School)
**Named Honorable Mention All-Conference**
-Finished ranked 7th in conference in scoring, averaging 15 points per game.
-Compiled 359 points on the season. 

Lehigh Valley's triple threat led Lehigh Valley to a 17-7 overall record and a 11-3 PSUAC record and the #3 seed in the PSUAC tournament. Lehigh Valley beat Penn State Wilkes Barre, 92-49, in the 1st round of the tournament before losing to #2 seed Penn State Hazleton, 76-71. Lehigh Valley has no seniors on the team and will look to make a championship push in the 2016-2017 season.
