Women's Basketball Dominates PSU Mont Alto, 87-57

ALLENTOWN, PA (February 9, 2016) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team ended their conference schedule with a dominating 87-57 win over Penn State Mont Alto Tuesday evening at Cedar Crest College.  With the win, Lehigh Valley improves to 14-6 overall and 11-3 in conference play.  Lehigh Valley will most likely be the 3rd seed in the upcoming PSUAC tournament and host the 1st round on Wednesday, February 17th at 5 PM at Cedar Crest College. Opponent to be determined after this weekend. 

Lehigh Valley led from start to finish as they raced out to a 41-25 halftime lead and never looked back in the second half. 

Junior Ashley Gordon led all scorers with 27 points. Freshman Lizzy Leiby had a monster game on both sides of the ball contirbuting 20 points. Sophomore Hannah Bankes recorded 16 points. Gia Erie had a double double scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Kereece Seuren had a career and game high 20 rebounds. 

Lehigh Valley has two non-conference games remaining before playoffs. They will travel to Summit University this Thursday for a 7 PM tip-off and host a single game this Saturday at 4 PM at Cedar Crest College.
