Abe Mamari was hired in 2017 as the head men's soccer coach to take over the newest sport being offered at PSULV. Mamari has experience starting soccer teams as he was the first member of the Lehigh Carbon Community College soccer team in 2001. After graduating from Penn State Harrisburg with a degree in Engineering, Mamari came back to Lehigh County and started the Lehigh Carbon Community College women's soccer team and coached the LCCC men's soccer team simultaneously, where he produced many all conference players.

At Lehigh Valley, Mamari has lead the Lions to PSUAC playoffs 4 straight years, including advancing the team to the PSUAC Final Four in 2019 and the PSUAC Championship game in 2021 and 2022, producing a programs best 11-6-1 overall record. He has produced several all-conference players. 

Mamari played at LCCC and Penn State Harrisburg, Mamari was selected as team MVP and team captain.
