NEW KENSINGTON, PA (November 5, 2023) - #3 Penn State Lehigh Valley Soccer team season ended in a hard fought 2-1 loss to #2 Penn State New Kensington Sunday afternoon in western Pennsylvania. With the loss, the team ended their season with a 13-3 overall record which is the best in program history.

New Kensington struck first getting on the board in the 1st half but Lehigh Valley's Jack Cupitt would answer off a Abraham Hernandez pass to tie it up 1-1 going into halftime. At the 83rd minute, New Kensignton would hammer home a goal pass LV goalie Jonathan Smith. New Kensington advances to the PSUAC Championship on Tuesday at University Park.

With minimal seniors on Lehigh Valley's team, they will look to make another championship run in the 2024 season.
