MONT ALTO, PA (September 17, 2022) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Soccer team improved to 2-0 in PSUAC play and 4-1 overall in a 5-1 win over host PSU Mont Alto Saturday afterrnoon. Lehigh Valley came out of the gates on fire with a score within 5 minutes of the start on a John Cupitt unassisted goal. Mont Alto would answer that goal shortly after. Lehigh Valley would then regain momentum with 2 more 1st half goals by Joel Santiago. Santiago would be assisted by Onur Alici and Marcus Pringle. Lehigh Valley continued putting pressure on Mont Alto scoring 2 more second half goals by Jerod Younes, one unassisted or one assisted by Sebastian Cortez.
Lehigh Valley will host non-conference opponent Manor College on Tuesday at 4 PM.
