UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (Sept. 8, 2016) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Golf team fired a 344 to take 3rd place out of 7 teams at University Park's White Course Thursday morning.
Lehigh Valley finished behind first place PSU Mont Alto who shot a 299 and second place PSU Wilkes-Barre who scored a 324. Lehigh Valley beat out PSU DuBois 345, PSU Hazleton 346, PSU New Kensington 354 and PSU Schulykill 364.
Individually, freshman Brian Zinman scored a 71 which was good enough for a 3 way tie for best score on the day. Senior Nicholas Engelman had great day on the greens as well with a score of 78. Sophomore Daniel Reigh 87 and freshman Jake Danko 108 wrapped up the scoring for the Lehigh Valley Lions.
Lehigh Valley will have a few days off before hitting the road on September 20 when they travel to Elizabethtown College for a Noon tee time.
