Men's Golf Wins 2nd Straight PSUAC Championship

STATE COLLEGE, PA (Oct. 13, 2015) - For the second year in a row, the Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Golf team took home the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championship title after scoring a combined 670 over two days of action on the Blue Course at University Park. 

Senior Shane Rhodes came in 2nd overall for the PSUAC, tied for 26th overall, as he marked a 164 total (80/84) over the two days.  Sophomore Ethan Culver from Lehigh Valley wrapped up the top five finishers of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, tying for 39th overall with a tally of 167 (79/88).  Sophomore Tyler Schoener scored a 169, senior Nathan Bloomfield recorded a 170 and junior Brendon McMahon tallied a 208 over the 2 day competition. 

Lehigh Valley finished up in 7th place overall in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament (USCAA), just 61 total strokes behind Cleary University, who placed first overall.

Congratulations to Shane Rhodes, Ethan Culver, Tyler Schoener and Nathan Bloomfield for being named to the PSUAC All-Conference team and Head Coach Brian Exton being named PSUAC Coach of the Year for 2 years straight.
