UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (Sept. 22, 2015) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Golf team fired a 340 to take 1st place out of 7 teams at University Park's Blue Course Tuesday morning.
Lehigh Valley clipped 2nd place PSU Hazleton who scored a 342. PSU Wilkes-Barre 361, PSU DuBois 364, PSU Mont Alto 366, PSU New Kensington 387 rounded out the scoring on the day.
Individually, senior Shane Rhodes scored an 82, the best on the day amongst the tournaments golfers. Senior Nathan Bloomfield and sophomore Ethan Culver tied with a score of 85. Sophomore Tyler Schoener 88, freshman Robert Boring 102, and senior Greg Yestrumskas 106 wrapped up the scoring for the Lehigh Valley Lions.
Lehigh Valley will look to continue their winning ways when they travel to PSU Hazleton on Monday, September 28th for a 11:00 AM tee time.
