The 2018-19 season is Tom Mosser's first season as a head coach after 16 years as an assistant at various spots.

Coach Mosser's goals are to bring discipline and hard work to the Men's Basketball program at Penn State Lehigh Valley, while first and foremost ensuring that his student-athletes are reaching their potential in the classroom and the community.  Coach brings a defense-first philosophy to the court, expecting his players to play hard and play smart, doing it for themselves, their teammates and the school they are representing.

Mosser got his start coaching at Bethlehem Catholic High School, where he was JV coach from 2001-2005.  He stayed at Becahi as a varsity assistant from 2005-2008.  His teams at Becahi won 2 championships and had several runner-up finishes.  From there he moved to Freedom High School where he was assistant coach from 2008-2015, being a part of the best season in school history, 22-5 in 2012.  In 2015 Mosser made the transition to Muhlenberg College, where he was an assistant for 2 years in the very tough Centennial Conference.  Throughout his 16 years, Coach Mosser has learned from some of the best coaches in the Lehigh Valley and has taken parts of each of their styles to build his own coaching philosophy.

Coach Mosser is a 1996 graduate of Nazareth Area High School, where he was a captain as a senior, and a 2012 graduate of Kutztown University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Education.
