Men's Basketball Falls in Double OT to PSU Shenango, 96-93

TANNERSVILLE, PA (November 19, 2021) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Basketball team dropped a heartbreaking double overtime game to visiting PSUAC opponent PSU Shenango, 96-93, on Friday eveniing at Northampton Community College Monroe Campus. With the loss, Lehigh Valley falls to 0-2 in PSUAC play.

Lehigh Valley held a 45-36 halftime lead before PSU Shenango came blazing back in the 2nd half outscoring Lehigh Valley 41-32. First overtime played out to a 7-7 tie but the second overtime Shenango took the advantage 12-9 to eventually win the battle. Five Lehigh Valley players scored in double digits led by Demond Farley with 19 points, Tyriek Goss added a double double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Ki Barnes recorded a double double as well with 14 points and 16 rebounds. Christion Brown and Jon Hishe rounded out the scoring with 11 each. 

Lehigh Valley will look to bounce back when they host PSU New Kensington Saturday afternoon at 3 PM at Northampton Community College Monroe campus.
