Men's Basketball Runs By PSU Scranton, 84-57

SCRANTON, PA (January 15, 2018) - Not playing in over a month, the Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Basketball team opened up Spring Semester play with a 84-57 victory over PSUAC opponent PSU Scranton Monday night in Scranton. With the win, the team improves to 2-4 in PSUAC play.

Four players scored in double figures led by senior Tarvis Gilbert with 21 points including 4 for 8 from 3 point land. Junior James Middleton muscled his way to 13 points and senior AJ Molettiere added 11 points including 3 for 6 from beyond the arc. Junior Jeremiah Jenkins chipped in with 10 points. Senior Jonathan Buie had a monster night on the boards collecting a game-high 16 rebounds.

Lehigh Valley will finally be home when they host PSUAC defending champions PSU Greater Allegheny on Friday at 8 PM and PSU Beaver on Saturday at 3 PM, both games are at Cedar Crest College.
