Men's Basketball Drops Two Out West

February 8, 2016 - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Basketball team had a tough weekend in western PA dropping two PSUAC games to Penn State Fayette and Penn State DuBois.

In game 1, Lehigh Valley fell to Penn State Fayette Saturday afternoon, 89-77. Senior Brandon Holland led Lehigh Valley with 15 points. Freshman DeShawn Oyeniyi chipped in with 9 points.

On Sunday afternoon, Lehigh Valley kept the game close until the final minutes before handing PSU DuBois the victory, 99-78. Lehigh Valley had 4 players in double figures, led by junior Jordan Young with 24 points. Senior Brandon Holland recorded 15 points. Freshman DeShawn Oyeniyi and sophomore David Stevens chipped in with 12 points a piece. 

Lehigh Valley approaches its final week of the season with doubleheader action Tuesday night at Cedar Crest College taking on Penn State Mont Alto. The women will tip-off at 6 PM, followed by the men at 8 PM. Penn State Lehigh Valley men's basketball will be honoring 2 seniors, Brandon Holland and Tyler Krchnavi, before the start of the game.
