WILKES BARRE, PA (Jan. 26, 2016) - Despite a resilient 2nd half comeback, the Penn State Lehigh Valley men's basketball team came up short to host Penn State Wilkes Barre, 73-61, tuesday night.

Lehigh Valley was down as many as sixteen points going into the 2nd half but the inside presence of freshman DeShawn Oyeniyi gave Lehigh Valley momentum to cut Wilkes Barre lead to three with 6 minutes left. Turnovers by Lehigh Valley in the final minutes gave Wilkes Barre the conference win.

Oyeniyi lead Lehigh Valley with 16 points.  Junior Jordan Young contributed 14 points and sophomore Sekou Mangassabou chipped in with 9 points. 

Lehigh Valley will host Penn State Hazleton this Satuday, January 30 at Stabler Arena. Women tip-off at 5 PM followed by the men at 7 PM. Attendees will enjoy giveaways and contests!
