ALLENTOWN, PA (January 21, 2016) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Basketball team defeated visiting PSUAC foe Penn State Brandywine, 65-61, Wednesday night at Cedar Crest College. With the win Lehigh Valley improves to 2-6 in PSUAC play.
Lehigh Valley trailed at the half 40-32 but responded in the second half outscoring Brandywine 33-21. Junior Jordan Young lead Lehigh Valley with 19 points including 2-4 from 3. Freshamn DeShawn Oyeniyi recorded his 1st double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Tyler Krchnavi contributed 9 points and a team-high 12 points.
Lehigh Valley will host Penn State Greater Allegheny this Saturday, January 23 at Stabler Arena on the campus of Lehigh University. The women will tip-off at 1 PM, followed by the men at 3 PM. Please check PSULV athletics website for game postponements.
