With a Conference Championship, Academic and Team All-Conference honors, Conference Playoff berths, National Championship bids and much more under their belts, the 2014-2015 Penn State Lehigh Valley athletic squads have left their mark in the campus history books.
FALL 2014
The fall athletic seasons started off with a bang as both the Men's Golf and first-ever Women's Volleyball teams captured wins in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC). Starting their very first season, the Women's Volleyball team, coached by Brittni Kholi, won ten of their regular season matches and advanced to the PSUAC Conference Elite 8. Two standout hitters for the Lions, Allora Atiyeh and Anna Talé, were named to the All-Conference team, and Atiyeh was named Newcomer of the Year. Six players on the team were named to the Academic All-Conference.
The men's golf team won four straight conference games, securing the PSUAC South Division Title against Penn State Mont Alto. To cap off their dominating run in the regular season, the team captured the 2014 PSUAC Golf Championship in State College. In the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championship, the men's team placed 13 out of 22 teams. Players Shane Rhodes, Nathan Bloomfield, and Ethan Culver were all named to the PSUAC All-Conference team and seven members of the team were awarded the Academic All-Conference status. Coach Brian Exton was also named PSUAC Golf Coach of the Year.
Out on the trails, the spirited Cross Country team members each achieved PSUAC Academic All-Conference honors for their hard work not only in the sport, but in the classroom. The members include; Tanner Holland, Jacon Srock, Alexandro Vega, Chris Bukavich, and Ashley Ramiriz.
The campus's storied collegiate cycling program had another stellar fall season under the leadership of new head coach and decorated former Penn State Lehigh Valley rider, Mandy Marquardt. With strong performances from riders James Mellen (freshman) and Monika Volk (sophomore), the team earned enough points at USA Cycling Collegiate Track Nationals to stand on the podium in fifth place, an impressive feat for a team with only two members. When not coaching the team, Marquardt is training and racing in a bid for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Students must achieve an individual GPA of 3.0 or higher to receive this recognition. The campus' fall teams had a combined average GPA of 3.13.

SPRING 2015
After two stellar seasons, the Penn State Lehigh Valley's men's and women's basketball teams both advanced to the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) championship tournament for the first time in their short history as campus sports.
The women's team, under the leadership of new Head Coach Lorie Khalil and in its second year as a campus sport, finished their conference regular season 11-3. The team established itself as a dominant competitor throughout the season resulting in wins over some of the top-ranked teams in the conference and leading to a bid to compete in the 2015 USCAA Basketball National Championships.
The women's team was seeded third in the Division II tournament, and finished as a semifinalist. Additionally, Emmaus High School graduate and freshman Andrea Watkins was the PSUAC leading scorer, averaging 19.2 points per game, named conference Newcomer of the Year award, and was named First Team All-Conference, Second Team USCAA All-American, and USCAA All-Tournament. Brenna Dosedlo was also awarded an All-Conference Honorable Mention. Taylor Russell ranked third in the conference in rebounds per game with 10.4, and both Watkins and Ashley Husser were ranked in the top five in field goal percentage. 
The men's team, now in its third year with Head Coach Anthony Ross, finished their conference regular season 8-7 taking the #6 seed in the PSUAC playoffs where they advanced to the quarterfinals. Joe Wiggins ranked third in the conference in points per game at 21.4, was awarded the Newcomer of the Year award, and made the Second Team All-Conference and Second Team USCAA All-American Teams.
