Watkins begins her 1st season as an assistant coach at PSULV. Watkins spent 2014-2018 as a player for PSULV Women's Basketball and under Head Coach, Lorie Khalil. In her 4 years, Watkins accumulated numerous conference and national accolades and awards. In her freshman season, Watkins averaged 18+ points per game, leading the PSUAC in scoring and was named PSUAC Newcomer of the Year and 1st Team All-Conference. In her sophomore year, she was named PSUAC Co-Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Conference and USCAA 1st Team All-American. In her junior season, she was again named PSUAC Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Conference, USCAA 1st Team All-Americam and became the 1st Player in PSULV history to be named USCAA D2 National Player of the Year (an award that goes to the best player in the country) and scored 1,000 career points, becoming only the 2nd player in PSULV history pass the milestone.  In Watkins final season, she was named PSUAC 2nd Team All-American and USCAA 2nd Team All-American. She helped PSULV Women's Basketball program make playoffs in all 4 of her years, including making it to the 2017 USCAA National Championship Game and the 2018 PSUAC Championship game. She finished with a win-loss record of 71-24 over her 4 year playing career at PSULV. Watkins graduated from PSULV in May 2018 with a degree in Rehad and Human Services.  Watkins has been a summer camp counselor and referee for years and is coaching an 8th grade AAU girls basketball team for In the Zone.
